I spent an unforgettable New Year's Eve vacation in the beautiful island of Mallorca

My holidays on Mallorca:

I spent an unforgettable  New Year's Eve  vacation in a charming setting: the beautiful island of Mallorca. I was there for a few days doing a Spanish course at a language school called Baraka. A residence school where I stayed with other students and teachers, close to Palma and to the Mediterranean sea. I was living in a very cozy house with a pool and a beautiful terrace.

From day one we communicated always in Spanish. In the morning we had lessons: we practiced grammar and spoke lots of Spanish in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.

After lessons we had a program of excursions and activities that was included in the course. We had good weather, the sun shone every day and it was hot. We walked accompanied by our teachers around the streets and courtyards of Palma and Valldemossa. We visited cathedrals and castles; markets and craft shops. In the evenings we watched Spanish movies or we went to Palma bars to enjoy a glass of wine and eat “tapas”.

We celebrated New Year's Eve together and with some of our teachers´friends in a family atmosphere. The party was fun, we enjoyed the excellent Spanish cuisine and we danced a lot.

At the weekends, we hiked and admired the beautiful views of the island. Mallorca has a very beautiful nature: sea and mountains, forests and beaches. One day we went climbing on a wonderful cove. It was amazing!

Everything was great and very interesting! We rested and learnt the language immersed in the Spanish lifestyle, culture and customs. I loved my holidays in Majorca!
